About John Hall - Author / Consultant Based in Cambridge, UK John Hall has been a senior manager in corporate services functions for a major part of his career, The other part being a consultant. He has worked for leading multinationals, the public sector, Trade Organisations, and professional services organisations. He has also been a consultant to the Institute of Management, and Director of the Centre for Leadership. As a consultant and conference speaker specialising in Organisational development, customer focus and management development and employee engagement, he has helped a number of organisations move to a better climate for performance and achieve external recognition for their progress. He is especially interested in organisation development and management techniques about how managers can best use their time and gain more commitment and performance from their people. He has devised a number of new management methods and has earlier written two other commissioned books 'Releasing potential in the right direction' and 'Practical Leadership Guide' He lives in a village outside Cambridge, and has an interest in watching rugby, inefficient swimming, and slow cycling, although not at the same time - now there is a thought!!!
